Ms. Sally Corbitt Deems, age 92 of Douglas, passed away Thursday morning, December 31, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Deems was born January 3, 1928 to the late Oliver Corbitt and the late Lillie Batten Corbitt. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Deems; a son, Bobby Deems; and a grandson, Lance Skipper.
Ms. Deems, a native of Coffee County, was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Jessie Spivey and husband Marshall of Douglas, GA
John Deems and wife Brooke of Douglas, GA
Jarred Deems and wife Jessica of Jacksonville, FL
26 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren

The graveside service and interment will be Sunday afternoon, January 3, 2021 at Douglas City Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Dr. Levi Skipper officiating.
Active pallbearers for the service will be: Jason Deems, Jeremy Deems, John Deems, Ray Pawlik, Scott Kirkland, Ted Wilkes, Jarred Deems, Marshall Spivey and Wesley White
