Mr. Freddie W. Wilkerson, Sr., age 77 of Willacoochee, passed away Saturday afternoon, January 2, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mr. Wilkerson was born November 8, 1943 to the late Charlie Wilkerson and the late Eula Mae Smith Wilkerson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Lott Wilkerson and a brother, Jimmy Wilkerson.

Mr. Wilkerson, a native of Coffee County, was a prominent farmer in the Hebron Community.

Survivors include:

Children: Freddie W. Wilkerson, Jr. and wife Karen of Willacoochee, GA
Sheryl Lewis and husband Lee of Willacoochee, GA

Brother: Charles David Wilkerson of Jacksonville, FL

Sister: Montez Woodward of Douglas, GA

Grandchildren: Nick Wilkerson of Savannah, GA
McKenzie Wilkerson of Baxley, GA
Kate Wilkerson, Bella Wilkerson and Mattie Rayne Lewis, all of Willacoochee, GA

Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends

The graveside service and interment will be Tuesday morning, January 5, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Hebron Cemetery with Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating.

Active pallbearers for the service will be: Ricky Newman, Cleve Carter, Reed Dillingham, Troy Aldridge, Carter Woodward and Kevin Lott.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Freddie’s memory to Childhood Cancer Awareness Group of Coffee County PO Box 1203 Douglas, GA 31534

Please note: Due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the graveside service and interment. Please wear you mask for safety precautions and in accordance with CDC guidelines. Please bring your own mask.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
