Michael Anthony Bryan, age 49, of West Green, Georgia passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021, at Shands Hospital, Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Bryan was born on July 29, 1971, in Opelika, AL, to Ottis Linwood Bryan and Frances Carolyn Courson Bryan.

 

Survivors include: Wife, Jennifer Hope Bryan of West Green, GA; father, Ottis Linwood Bryan of Douglas, GA; mother, Frances Carolyn Courson Bryan of Douglas, GA; daughters, Ashleyn Adams of Douglas, GA, Allie (Ashley) Yarberry of West Green, GA, and Courtney Bryan of Springhill, FL; sisters, Michele (Greg) Penn of Douglas, GA, Mary Lawrence Douglas of Douglas, GA; grandchildren, Delta Sixtos, Peyton Yarberry, Ember Yarberry, Rumi Kahugu; and several nieces and nephews. 

 

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home. 

 

The funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 2:00 pm Burkett Baptist Church with Rev. Joseph Lee, officiating. Sally Ellis will give the eulogy.

 

Interment will follow at the Burkett Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

 

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade face masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility. Masks are not provided.
