Coffee Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce H.P. Nair, M.D.’s recent re-certification in critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Nair has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1983. This significant achievement marks his latest accomplishment toward maintaining his many certifications and demonstrates his continued commitment to the medical profession and his patients.

 

In the medical field, Board Certification is an extra step that many physicians choose to take to demonstrate that they are committed to the latest advancements in their specialty. Board Certifications demonstrate physicians’ desire to practice at the top of their profession and deliver high-quality care to their patients.

 

Dr. Nair plans to continue to utilize his Critical Care expertise to assist the hospital and our caregivers in the care of our ICU patients. Physicians with specialty training in critical care bring important skills to the bedside that assures the latest treatments modalities are used and improve outcomes.

 

With over 45 years of experience, Dr. H.P. Nair also specializes in cardiology and internal medicine. Dr. Nair is fellowship trained and has also been a Diplomate of the American Board of Cardiovascular Disease since 1987. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. These five board certifications distinguish Dr. Nair among physicians and are a testament to his commitment to outstanding patient care and lifelong learning.
