Sandra Faye Batten, age 77, of Ambrose, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2021, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Batten was born on October 31, 1943, in Douglas, Georgia to Oliver Arthur Lott and Vera Vickers  Lott.

 

Survivors include: Daughter, Kim (Philip) Smith of Ambrose, GA; sisters, Claryce Batten of Douglas, GA, Connie Carver of Douglas, GA; brother, Danny Lott of Ambrose, GA; grandchildren, Anna Bowen, Alix Troupe, Aubrie Anna Smith, Kylie Jo Batten, Daniel Smith, Maggie Rae Batten, Lauren Smith; great-grandchild, Harper Smith. 

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Batten; sons, Aubrey Batten, Jr., Kyle Batten; father, Oliver Arthur Lott, Sr.; mother, Vera Vickers Lott; sisters, Eunice Morris, Margaret Gaskin; brothers, Frances Lott and O. A. Lott. 

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Philip Smith and Elder Walter DeLoach officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

 

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade face masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility. Masks are not provided.
