Superior Court Judge Dwayne Gillis and Probate Judge Beverly Johns administered the oaths of office to county officials who were elected in 2020. Instead of doing a typical investiture ceremony with all officials present as usual, the judges called everyone in individually. Here are the officials who were sworn in:

Elisa Gillis: Newly Elected – Clerk of Court

Judge Julie Phillips-Magistrate Court Judge-Re-Elected

Doyle Wooten- Sheriff-Re-Elected

Jimmy Kitchens-County Commissioner -District 2-Re-Elected

Johnny Wayne Jowers-County Commissioner-District 4-Re-Elected 

Ted O’Steen-County Commissioner-District 5-Re-Elected

Gene Wade-School Board Member-District 3-Newly- Elected

Adam Lott-School Board Member-District 5-Re-Elected

Brandon Musgrove-Coroner – Re-Elected

Adam Evans-Surveyor-Re-Elected

John Williams -Appointed Deputy Coroner

Sue Williams – Appointed Deputy Coroner
