Mrs. Thurza Louise Murray, age 60 of Baxley, Ga., passed away, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Appling County HealthCare of Baxley, Ga., following a brief illness.

 

Survivors include:

 

Mother:  Thurza Ann Smith of Nahunta, Ga.

Husband:  Ralph Murray of Baxley, Ga.

Daughters:  Misty Murray and husband, Alex Galvan of Hoboken, Ga.

Jennifer Murray of Millwood, Ga.

Christy Murray and husband, John of Millwood, Ga.

Peggy Wright and husband, Dustin of Pearson, Ga.

Shannon Davis and husband, Bill of Broxton, Ga.

Chryssy Bennett and husband, Mark of Pearson, Ga.

Brother:  David Plowden and wife, Tracy of Summerville, SC

Sisters:  Marie Gaskins of Nahunta, Ga.

Katie Plowden of James Island, SC

21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Murray will be held, Monday, February 8, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Indian Mound Baptist Church in Millwood, Ga., with Bro. Clayton Davis officiating.  The interment will follow in Indian Mound Cemetery.

 

Visitation for Mrs. Murray will be held, Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Indian Mound Baptist Church in Millwood, Ga. 

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the Coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Relihan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
