The Coffee County Cattle Boosters will be hosting the County Heifer and Market Beef Cattle Show for 4-H and FFA students at 11 AM on Saturday, February 27. The show will be held in the Billy Walker Livestock Facility at Coffee Middle School.
Participants are: Coffee County 4-H: Maggie McIver, Taylor Medders, and Nora Taylor White; CCA FFA: Renee Asbel; Coffee Middle FFA: Preston Hutto, Reid White, and Kinsley Wooten; Coffee High FFA: Kate Day, Kramer Day, Emma Hutto, Hunter Hutto, Hallie Lott, and Brylee Moxley.
Please come out to support these students as they exhibit their livestock on Saturday, February 27, starting at 11 AM.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH ARTWORK CONTEST
Coffee County 4-H members are encouraged to create and submit artwork for the Black History Month Artwork Contest. Rules are that the artwork must be your original creation, must be drawn on plain white 8 ½ by 11-inch paper, artwork may be black and white or color, and submitted no later than 4 pm on Friday, February 26, to the Coffee County 4‑H office. First place prizes will be given in each age group to Cloverleaf, Junior, and Senior 4-H members. Student’s name and school should be written on the back of the submission.
ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY WORKDAY
Our next 4-H Adopt-A-Highway workday is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, March 9, from 4 PM to 5 PM, at the 4-H office. 4-H members are asked to call the 4-H office at (912) 384-1402 to sign up to take part in this activity. Due to COVID-19, we have to limit participation in our activities right now, so it is very important to call in to sign up ahead of time. Help us keep Coffee County looking great by keeping trash off our streets.
