Aden Griffis, age 78, owner of Aden’s Minit Markets, Douglas, Georgia, passed away in Jacksonville, Florida from COVID-19 on Thursday, March 4, 2021. Mr. Griffis was born on November 26, 1942 in Coffee County, Georgia, the son of the late Elmon and Rilza Morgan Griffis.
Mr. Griffis attended Jowers Chapel Holiness Church, Douglas, Georgia.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Cox Griffis of Douglas, GA; daughters, Lynn Watson of Douglas, GA, and Lori Burnam (Kenny) of Nicholls, GA; step-son, Terry English of Douglas, GA; grandchildren, Stephanie, Casey and Brittany English; brother, Larry Griffis (Patty) of Douglas, GA; sisters, Evelyn Anderson of South Carolina, Mary Lou Day (James) of Douglas, GA, and Carolyn Woods (Osborn) of Columbus, GA; caregivers, Lee Hulett, Carey Schlander, and Evan Brown.
A celebration of life service will be held on April 10, 2021.
