Mrs. Lois Marie Allen Baker, age 63 of Douglas, passed away late Tuesday evening, March 9, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Baker was born December 29, 1957 to the late Carol J. Allen and the late Helen Gilley Allen.

Mrs. Baker, a native of Homerville, GA, was a homemaker.

Survivors include:

Husband: William Doyle Baker of Douglas, GA

Sons: William Andrew Baker and wife Tiffany of Warner Robins, GA
Matthew Daniel Baker and wife Jessica of Douglas, GA

Grandchildren: McKenzie, Emma and Wyatt Baker, all of Warner Robins, GA
Ella, Annaclaire and Briggs Baker, all of Douglas, GA

Brothers: Charles “Eddie” Allen and wife Susan of Gainesville, GA
William Grayson Allen and wife Sherry of Jacksonville, FL

Sister: Carol Allen Aycock and husband Buddy of Nahunta, GA

 

Sister-In-Law: Sheila Adams of Douglas, GA

Several other relatives and many friends also survive.

The graveside service and interment will be Friday afternoon, March 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Gregory Pope officiating.

Active pallbearers for the service will be: Ashley Thompson, Jason Adams, Joel Adams, Ben Aycock, Zane Aycock and Daivd Shultz.

Honorary pallbearer for the service will be Grayson Allen.

Due to COVID-19 all attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the graveside service and interment. Please wear your mask for safety precautions and in accordance with CDC guidelines.
