Mr. Willis Audman Hutto, age 90 of Douglas, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 1, 2021 at Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton following an extended illness. Mr. Hutto was born August 18, 1930 to the late Jim Hutto and the late Ada Marie Davis Hutto.

Mr. Hutto, a native of Irwin County, had been employed with the City of Douglas in the Water Department, Fleetwood and Jess Tanner Pulpwood. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War.

His wife of 67 years: Rhoda “Tiny” Merritt Hutto of Douglas, GA

Children: Frances Smith and husband Paul of Douglas, GA
Annette Courson and husband Dalton of Douglas, GA
Jennell Gieger and husband Ray of Douglas, GA
Jimmy “Jimbo” Hutto and wife Winnie of Snipesville, GA
Rhonda Dworkin and husband Marty of Atlanta, GA
Tina Cooper and husband Scooter of Douglas, GA
Alton Hutto of Douglas, GA
Dewayne Hutto and wife Amy of Alma, GA

18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren

Several friends and other relatives.

The graveside service and interment will be Monday, April 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Chaney Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Gasque and Bro. Johnny Wayne Jowers officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers for the service will be: Dewayne Hutto, Jimmy Hutto, Alton Hutto, Ray Gieger, Paul Smith and Dalton Courson.

Due to COVID-19 attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the graveside service and interment. Please wear your mask for safety precautions and in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
