Clarice Hill, age 81, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Langdale House, Valdosta, Georgia from an extended illness. Mrs. Hill was born on June 13, 1939 in Ambrose, Georgia the daughter of the late Rowland and Narciss Carver McNeese.

 

Mrs. Hill was the retired business manager of Hill Electric and a member of College Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Raymond Hill Sr.

 

Survivors include son, Gordon Raymond Hill Jr. of Douglas, GA; three grandchildren, Ansleigh Hill, Reis Hill and, Rian Hill; great granddaughter, Addisyn Taylor; caretaker, Leigh Ann Taylor; sister-in-law, Dockie Adams; several nieces and nephews.

 

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Mercer officiating. Interment will follow at Deberry Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phillip Adams, Roland McNeese, Rodney Peterson, Cam Coffee, Reis Hill, Rian Hill, James Harper, and DeWayne Harper.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade face-masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility.  Masks are not provided.
