Mrs. Carolyn June Mancil Busby, age 75 of Douglas, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 25, 2021 at Bacon County Hospital in Alma following a short illness. Mrs. Busby was born December 2, 1945 to the late Woodrow Mancil and the late Louise Kitchens Mancil. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Busby.

Mrs. Busby, a native of Coffee County, had been a radio dispatcher for Baxley Police Department for many years. She had also been employed with Ship ‘n Shore as a seamstress in Baxley. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include:

Sons: Bobby Busby, Jr. and wife Selena of Douglas, GA
Anthony Busby and wife Corey of Broxton, GA

Sister: Patsy Hurst of Broxton, GA

Brothers: Jim Mancil of Douglas, GA
Tommy Mancil of Nicholls, GA

5 Grandchildren

3 Great Grandchildren

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends

Memorialization is by cremation

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
