Mr. Quinton Paulk, age 95 of West Green, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 18, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Paulk was born October 6, 1925 to the late George Paulk and the Janie Vickers Paulk.

Mr. Paulk, a native of Douglas, Coffee County, was a prominent farmer of the West Green Community. He was a member of Burkett Baptist Church, where he had been a deacon for over 50 years.

His wife of 73 years: Jenell Spivey Paulk of West Green, GA

Children: Mae Deen Atkinson and husband Ronnie of Denton, GA
Ronald Felton Paulk and wife Donna Gail of Alma, GA
Gladys Faye Lott of West Green, GA

Brother: M. J. Paulk of Lax, GA

Granddaughters: Rhonda Harper of West Green, GA
Kelli Harper of Ambrose, GA
Lori Johnson of Alma, GA
Kristi Carter of West Green, GA
Laci Ellis of Alma, GA
Jennifer Bryan of West Green, GA
Jan Bowen of West Green, GA

A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends

The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday afternoon, May 20, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Burkett Baptist Church with Rev. George Carroll Paulk and Rev. Joseph Lee officiating. The interment will follow at Burkett Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from noon until 2:00 PM at Burkett Baptist Church.

Musical Selections for the service will be “Go Rest High on That Mountain” rendered by Dennis Hursey and a congregational hymn of “Amazing Grace”.

Active Pallbearers for the service will be: Ron Johnson, Michael Ellis, Jake Johnson, Matthew Ellis, J. P. Harper, Ethan Carter, Michael Pittman and Jesse Bowen.

Due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the visitation, funeral service and interment. Please wear your mask for safety precautions and in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
