Mrs. Carolyn Gail Veazey Reynolds, age 77 of Broxton, GA passed away Monday evening May 24, 2021 at St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital in Savannah, following an extended illness. Mrs. Reynolds was born May 25, 1943 to the late Frank Worth Veazey, Sr. and the late Mildred Louise Benton Veazey. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: James R. “Bobby” Reynolds, Sr. and a son Travis Reynolds.

Mrs. Reynolds, a native of Coffee County, was a homemaker. She was a member of Broxton First Baptist Church.

Survivors include:

1 Daughter: Tracey Lott and husband Desi of Broxton, GA

1 Son: James R. Reynolds, Jr. of Broxton, GA

5 Grandchildren: Paige Reynolds of Broxton, GA
Dee Anderson and husband Cole of Waycross, GA
Melissa Brooke Lott and Carlina Elizabeth Lott both of
Broxton, GA
Aara Anais Van Alestyne and husband Earl of SC

1 Brother: Frank W. Veazey, Jr. of Broxton, GA

3 Great Grand Children: Calien Pate of Broxton, GA
Ace Anderson and Demi Anderson both of Waycross,
GA

1 Sister-in-Law: Kathy Smith and husband Greg of Savannah, GA

Nieces and Nephews: Chip, Sheila, Amy and Bryan

Memorialization is by cremation.

The memorial service will be Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Broxton First Baptist Church with Rev. Den Weniger and Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating.

Musical selections for the service will be: Amazing Grace and If I Can Help Somebody.

Due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the memorial service. Please wear your mask for safety precautions and in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
