The CRMC Walk-In Clinic, located at 205 Shirley Avenue in Douglas, is now offering on-site testing for COVID-19, Monday through Sunday, from 7:30 am – 7:30 pm. For patients experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, the clinic is offering a rapid molecular COVID-19 test with results reported in as little as 15 minutes. This test has a 95% accuracy in patients with symptoms.  If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and wish to be seen at the clinic, please remain in your vehicle upon arrival and call the clinic for complete instructions.

There is a charge for the test, or a co-pay for a clinic visit if you have insurance. If you don’t have insurance, there is a self-pay rate available. For FREE PCR (nasal swab test) COVID-19 testing via Mako Medical, visit the Georgia Department of Public Health website at sehdph.org. For more information, call the CRMC Walk-In Clinic at (912) 383-6966.

The CRMC’s hospital lab is offering on-site PCR (nasal swab) testing in the lab department of the hospital for individuals who do not have COVID-19 symptoms. This test is appropriate for those who need testing for work, travel, or to make sure they haven’t been infected after exposure. You can schedule an appointment to be tested by calling the laboratory at 912-384-1900, extension 4142.  The charge for this test is $80.00.  When you call to schedule an appointment, you will be given instructions for registration and payment. This test does not require a doctor’s order and results are available in 1 hour.
