Mr. Timothy Edward Coleman, age 58 of Ambrose, passed away early Thursday morning, June 10, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Coleman was born September 14, 1962 to late William Robert Coleman and the late Javene Scarborough Coleman.

Mr. Coleman, a native of Coffee County, had been employed in home construction with Freedom Homes. He was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include:

Wife: Sonya Collins Coleman of Douglas, GA

Step-Mother: Sue Coleman

Children: Shon Coleman and wife Bridgett of Warner Robins, GA
Shane Coleman and wife Dianne of Brunswick, GA
Sheron Coleman of Brunswick, GA

Brother: Blaine Coleman of Eastman, GA

Sisters: Debbie Luke of St. Augustine, FL
Lynn Coleman of East Dublin, GA

Grandchildren: Faythe Coleman, Cody Coleman and Sadie Jo Coleman, all of Warner Robins, GA
Roxi Coleman, Hunter Coleman and Layla McLaughlin, all of Brunswick, GA

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends

The funeral service will be Saturday afternoon, June 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Mercer officiating. The interment will follow in Griffin Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers for the service will be Dexter Kirkland, Keith Guess, Ray Lanier, John Moore Charles Carver and Kenny Register

Due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the visitation, funeral service and interment. Please wear your mask for safety precautions and in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
