Mrs. Evelyn Hutchinson Griffin, age 71 of Wray, GA passed away early Sunday morning, June 20, 2021 at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, GA following a short illness. Mrs. Griffin was born March 26, 1950 to the Alsie Brown Hutchinson and the late Louvenia Dyes Hutchinson. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Arthur Griffin; 3 Brothers: Charles Hutchinson, Buddy Hutchinson and Byrd Hutchinson.
Mrs. Griffin, a native of Fitzgerald, GA, had lived in Coffee County for many years. She worked in the clerical department for the Coffee County Sherriff’s office. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be Thursday afternoon, June 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church, near Ambrose, with Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating. The interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
