Brenda Adams Batten, age 64, of Pearson, Georgia passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021 in Savannah, Georgia. Mrs. Batten was born on July 29, 1956 in Coffee County, Georgia the daughter of the late B. H. & Gertrude Warren Adams.

 

Mrs. Batten was a homemaker and a member of Harvest Time Church, Douglas, Georgia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Jene Batten, daughter, Dora Beth Spivey and a sister, Nina Faye Metts.

 

Survivors include daughter, Stephanie Mancil (Robbie) of Axson, GA; son, Barry Spivey (Talena) of  Willacoochee, GA; 2 grandchildren, Dylan Spivey of Willacoochee, GA & Lyndsey Mancil of Axson, GA; sister, Dale Wadi (Muhammed) of Amman, Jordan; several nieces & nephews.

 

The family will receive friends Saturday evening, June 26, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Copeland and Rev. Edison Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Mora Cemetery, Willacoochee, GA. Pallbearers will be Chad Cotsenmoye, Brandon Register, Anthony Davis, Brian Mancil, Timbo Davis, David Warren and, Felton Metts.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
