Mr. Clifford (Larry) Lawrence Butcher, 75 of Douglas, GA. passed away Monday July 5, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center with his loving family at his bedside. He was born in Wilmington, NC on September 27, 1945 to the late Clifford and Hope Butcher.
Early in life Mr. Butcher served his country by becoming a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. He worked most of his life providing for his family as a telephone cable splicer.
He is survived by his Wife; Sharon McCartney Butcher
3 Sons; Guy (Lois) Tucker, Paul (Susie) Tucker and James (Jenny) Butcher.
5 Daughters; Missy Tucker Holden, Melissa Butcher, Renae Butcher Williams, Sharona (Jesse) Thigpen and Brianna (David) Bowen.
1 Sister; Stacie Butcher Zompetti
21 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews also survived.

Other than his parents Mr. Butcher is preceded in death by his Son-in-law; Mark Williams, his Grandson; Chandler Blake Thigpen and Granddaughter; Bobbie Lynn Moore.
Visitation will take place Friday July 9, 2021 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday July 10, 2021 at 4 p.m. at Southview Church of God. Burial will follow at Griffin Cemetery in Ambrose, GA with Military Honors.
