Ralph Clint Prescott Sr, age 88 of Gibson, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at his residence.

 

Mr. Prescott was the son of the late Emmet Prescott and Ella Mae Bazemore Prescott. Ralph was a United States Veteran Navy veteran. Before his retirement he worked at Plant Hatch as a maintenance worker. He attended several churches in the area and was a member of the American Legion in Wrens, GA. Ralph enjoyed playing music and writing songs. What he enjoyed most of all was spending time with his family.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Lynnwood, Edward and Sammie Prescott, 4 sisters, Helen Davis, Maggie Spires, Inello Davis and Eva Mae Millington and a step-daughter, Betty White Head.

 

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Chalker Prescott, sons, Ralph Clint Prescott Jr, and Marcus Prescott; daughters, Rene Allen and Julie Prescott; brother, Ray Prescott; sister, Sarah; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

 

Graveside services with Military Honors will be Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Satilla Memorial Gardens.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
