Mrs. Mary Frances Morris, age 79 of Pearson, Ga., passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021, at her home in Pearson, Ga. following an extended illness.

 

Survivors include:

 

Son:  Jesse Edwin “Jess” Morris of Yulee, Fl.

 

Daughters:  Tonya Mason of Hartselle, Al.

                        Melissa Williams and husband Ivan of Yulee, Fl.

 

Brothers:  Harold Barnes of Douglas, Ga.

                    J.H. Barnes of Homerville, Ga.

 

Sisters:  Connie Hamilton of Pearson, Ga.

                 LaVonne Marsh of Augusta, Ga.

                 Virginia Griffis and husband Roger of Douglas, Ga.

                 Sarah Clemons of Douglas, Ga.

                 Carolyn Barnes of Athens, Ga.

                 Edna Inlow and husband Derwood of Bainbridge, Ga.

 

Grandchildren:  Thomas Earl Mason (Sarah), Tabitha Abigail Mason Hatfield (Jordan), TaShauna Mason, Ivan Williams, Sean Williams, Travis Williams, Lacey Morris, Caitlyn Riggins (Johnny), Nelson Morris (Odalys), and Mackenzie Miller.

 

10 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Morris will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. at Ozias Freewill Baptist Church in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Lonnie Spikes and Rev. Harold Barnes officiating. The interment will follow in Red Bluff Cemetery.

 

Visitation for Mrs. Morris will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Ozias Freewill Baptist Church in Pearson, Ga.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including social distancing.
