Mrs. Janet Cathleen Stone Keene, age 48 of Douglas, GA passed away Thursday morning, August 5, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Keene was born December 25, 1972 to Debra Brigmond Stone and the late Calvin Stone.

Mrs. Keene, a native of Douglas, GA, was a homemaker. She had previously been the cafeteria manager for Citizens Christian Academy. Janet was a member of The Sanctuary.

Survivors include:

Her Husband: Steven Keene of Douglas, GA

3 Children: Joshua Keene, Jordan Keene and Ansley Keene all of Douglas, GA

Her Mother: Debra Brigmond Stone of Douglas, GA

Sister: Regina Stone of Douglas, GA

Brother: Tony Stone of Douglas, GA

Special Niece: MiaBella Stone of Douglas, GA

4 other Nieces and Nephews: Grace Stone, Katie Stone, Beth Stone and Tucker Stone all of AL

The funeral service will be Sunday afternoon, August 8, 2021 at 4:00 PM at The Sanctuary with Rev. Bob Powell officiating. The interment will follow in Douglas City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, August 8, 2021 at 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at The Sanctuary.

Due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the visitation, funeral service and interment. Please wear your mask for safety precautions.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
