Ms. Marian Carol Pearce Mitchell, age 58 of Ambrose, GA, passed away Wednesday afternoon at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, following a brief illness. Ms. Mitchell was born June 19, 1963 to the late Marion Carroll Pearce and the late Macie Threatt Pearce.

Ms. Mitchell, a native of Coffee County, was an operations systems service manager for Elixir Industries for 34 years. She was an active member of Wray Holiness Baptist Church.

Survivors include:

2 Children: Arly Pridgen and husband Eric of Dallas, GA
Adele Guthrie and husband Ashley of Douglas, GA

2 Brothers: Tommy Pearce of Douglas, GA
Richard Pearce and wife Jonna of Mora, GA

2 Sisters: Diane Horne and husband Jr of Douglas, Ga
Angie Fuller and husband Brad of Alapaha, GA

5 Grandchildren: Jackson Pridgen, Camille Pridgen and Seth Pridgen all of Dallas, GA
Natalie Guthrie and Whitman Guthrie both of Douglas, GA

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends

The funeral service will be Sunday morning, August 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Wray Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Edsel Young and Rev. Steve Willingham officiating. The interment will follow in Wray Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, Saturday evening, August 7, 2021, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Active Pallbearers for the service will be Brad Fuller, J. R. Horne, Aaron Fuller, Austin Fuller, Hayden Pearce and Shane McDuffie.

Due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the visitation, funeral service and interment. Please wear your mask for safety precautions.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
