Cindy Lou Moelius, age 62, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, Georgia. Ms. Moelius was born on February 4, 1959 in Hempstead, NY the daughter of the late William & Roberta Brower Moelius.

 

Cindy was a homemaker.

 

Survivors include 2 sisters, Laura May Moelius of TN and, Shelly Benton (Jesse) of Douglas, GA; brother, William Perry Moelius of Middleburg, FL; 4 nieces, Roberta Johnson (Michael), Sarah Moelius, Rachel Farley and, Jessica Benton all of Douglas, GA; 3 nephews, Tony Latham, James Farley and, Joshua Farley all of Douglas, GA; several great nieces and nephews.

 

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, August 13, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Tim Mock officiating. Pallbearers will be James Farley, Michael Johnson, Kameron Johnson, Tony Latham, Joshua Farley, Kody Johnson, Preston Johnson and, Manuel Diego.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including social distancing.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
