Eveline Sewell Bryce, age 83, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021. Mrs. Bryce was born on June 23, 1938 in Dade City, Florida the daughter of the late William Dennis & Lonnie Lee Hutchison Sewell.

 

Mrs. Bryce was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur James Bryce, Jr., son, Edwin M. Bryce, sister, Regenia Fales and step-father, Leon Stith.

 

Survivors include 2 daughters, Debra Montoya (Jimmy) of Douglas, GA and, Theresa Leggett (Scott) of Young Harris, GA; 8 grandchildren, Haley Dobbins (Errol), Jordan Leggett (Isaac Bailey), James Johnson, Wendall Johnson, Brandi Spivey (Alli Purvis), Eric Bryce, Eric Wilcox, Elizabeth Stable; 12 great grandchildren, Austin Chaney, Nathan Bryce, Katelyn Bryce, Skyler Johnson, Dane Johnson, Caden Johnson, Angelina Johnson, T.J. Spivey, Andi Spivey, Jaxton Dobbins, Breydon Dobbins, Brycen Dobbins; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Bryce; special fur baby, BJ.

 

The family will receive friends Friday, September 17, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Deloach officiating. Interment will follow at Harrell Grove Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tillman Spivey, Alli Purvis, Eric Bryce, Errol Dobbins, Isaac Bailey, Scott Leggett.

 

The family would like to express sincere love and appreciation to, Bethany Hospice, Walt Deloach, Becky Smith, Taylor Craigue, Lessie White and Nick Rodriguez; Lee Williams of Diversified Resources, Inc; Yoland Thomas of Service Link.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
