CRMC to host 2021 Annual Community Health & Wellness Event

On Saturday, October 2, Coffee Regional Medical Center is pleased to hold its annual CRMC Community Health & Wellness Event. Included in this year’s event will be a discounted community blood screening as well as a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for ages 12 & older. 

 

The cost for a blood screening panel is $35. The panel includes a complete blood count (CBC), comprehensive metabolic profile (CMP), lipid analysis, and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH). The blood screening will be held inside the Coffee Regional Medical Center cafeteria.

 

All participants are asked not to eat or drink anything other than water for 8 hours prior to the screening. Labwork will be drawn from 8:30 am-12:00 pm.

 

To ensure a safe environment during Covid, the health fair will be scaled back from previous years and include only healthcare vendors. The fun run and road race will be postponed this year.  All CRH Physician Practices and Orthopedic Surgeons of Georgia will be available with information as well as a handful of other local healthcare vendors. The event will begin at 8:30 am and conclude at 12 noon. 

 

For specific questions pertaining to this year’s Health & Wellness Event, please call The Wellness Center at (912) 383-6988 Monday-Friday during business hours. 

 

All participants will be required to wear a mask when indoors. Participants are asked please not to attend if they have had any fever, flu, or Covid-like symptoms in the ten days prior to the event. Hope to see you on October 2 and please stay well! Your friends at CRMC.
