Mr. Richard Lawrence Henderson, Sr. age 76 of Douglas, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mr. Henderson was born July 21, 1945 to the late William Henderson and the late Dorothy Oldham Henderson.
Mr. Henderson, a native of Orlando, FL, was self employed as a welder. He attended St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Mr. Henderson was also a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include:
6 Children: Misty Henderson of Douglas, GA, Ricky Henderson, Troy Henderson, D. D. Watson, Larry Henderson and Michael Henderson, all of Trenton, GA
A number of grandchildren and great grandchildren
Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends
Memorialization will be by cremation.
