Frances Jernigan Sisk

 

May 23, 1948 – September 22, 2021

 

Frances Sisk left this earth in the arms of Jesus her Savior.

 

She will be remembered by her warm and loving personality and bright smile.

 

She found joy in her children, grands, and great grands, and the rest of her family.

 

She was generous and always ready to help when needed.

 

She served happily with and at her church.

 

She was excited for every opportunity to walk on the beach.

 

Her flowers were a pleasure to her.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Clyde “Bo” Sisk,

 

Her parents R.V and Willadean Jernigan,

 

Her Brother Roger Dale Jernigan, her sister Linda Dean Jernigan and Nephew Christopher Wooten.

 

She is survived by Sons Waylon Sisk (Camille) of Atlanta, Tommy Sisk (Sheila) of Douglas, Wesley Sisk of Durham, NC. Sisters Betty Steverson (Lenny) of St. Augustine, FL. Donna Ross (Allen) of Broxton, Anita Chaney

 

(Jeff) of Douglas. Brother Phil Jernigan (Lavonda) of Douglas.

 

Granddaughters Lisa Graham (Tracey) of Douglas, Stephanie McKinnon (Barry) of Douglas, Samantha Williams (Travis) of Bickley,

 

9 Great-grands Anna Graham, Ciara Graham, Jayden Graham, Izabella Sisk, Isaiah McKinnon, Charlie Sisk, Alexis Sisk, Taylor Sisk, Cotton Gunn.

 

The family will receive friends Monday, September 27, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Marshall Adcock officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Pond Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Waylon Sisk, Lenny Steverson, Allen Ross, Jeff Chaney, Jason Dale and Mitchel Slaughter.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
