Mr. Arlie Asbury Waldron, Jr., age 89 of Douglas, passed away Wednesday morning, October 6, 2021 at his residence following a short illness. Mr. Waldron was born March 6, 1932 to the late Arlie Asbury Waldron, Sr. and the late Ollie Leona Purvis Waldron. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Delores Minix Waldron, 1 Daughter: Jamie Waldron and a brother: Cary Waldron.
Mr. Waldron, a native of Douglas, GA, was retired from the military after 25 years of service. He was a Vietnam veteran. He worked at the Exchange Bank for a number of years.

4 Grandchildren: Billy Waldron and wife Amy of Ewing, VA

Maegan Waldron and husband Brooks of Douglas, GA
Breanna W. Waters and husband Johnathan of Hawkinsville, GA
10 Great Grandchildren
The graveside service and interment will be Monday morning, October 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Leroy Spivey officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening, October 9, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home.
