Eloise Ragsdale, age 91, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Vista Park. Mrs. Ragsdale was born on April 11, 1930 in Coffee County, Georgia the daughter of the late Rasom & Rhonda Carver.

 

Mrs. Ragsdale retired from Fletcher Oil Company as a bookkeeper and was a member of First Congregational Christian Church, Douglas, Georgia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Ragsdale.

 

Survivors include 3 daughters, Patricia Jones (Eric) of Broxton, GA, Teresa Lynn Know of Jacksonville, FL and Linda Michele Ragsdale of Alva, FL; son, Anthony Ray Ragsdale of Tallahassee, FL; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

 

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Rocky Pond Church Cemetery with Rev. Matt Rutland officiating.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
