Mr. Anthony “Tony” Harrell, age 59 of Pearson, GA passed away, Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Sumter County, GA from a sudden death. Mr. Harrell was born November 28, 1961 to Mary Ellen Lairsey Harrell Maynard and the late Carl W. Harrell, Jr. In addition to his to father, he was preceded in death by his wife, IraSue Harrell; Step-Father: Clyde Gene Maynard; 1 Half-Sister: Gwendolyn Harrell Dixon; Paternal Grandparents: Carl Harrell, Sr. and Fannie Lee Day Harrell; and Maternal Grandparents: Louis Larisey and Rosa Bowen Lairsey.
Mr. Harrell was a welder by trade. He had been employed by Fleetwood for a number of years. He was currently self-employed in construction. After he graduated from high school, he attended Ben Hill-Irwin Tech and received a degree in welding. He was a member of Woodmen of the World.

The funeral service was held Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Den Weniger and Tony’s nephew, Carl LaRocque, presenting a eulogy.
Special Musical Selections, “Scars In Heaven”, “Tuesday’s Gone”, “Go Rest High On That Mountain” and “Amazing Grace” were all presented by CD Music.
“Pre-Lude” and “Post-Lude” soft hymns were rendered by CD Music
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Ricketson Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses for Anthony “Tony” Harrell.
Due to COVID-19, the family asks that all attendees please follow the rules of social distancing and wear your mask for safety precautions to the visitation and service.
