Mrs. Opal J. “Gang Gang” Tarrant Hutchinson, age 85 of Nicholls, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Mrs. Hutchinson was born on April 23, 1936 in Ambrose to the late Warren Joiner and Maudine Harper Joiner. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband; Lee Tarrant and her late husband Authur Hutchinson, and Great-Great Granddaughter Amelia Davis.

 

Survivors include; her Daughter; Marilyn (Clyde) Bennett of Nicholls, GA., 2 Sons; Eddie (Diane) Tarrant of Douglas, GA. and Wendell (Jeannie) Tarrant of West Green, GA. Sister; Gellet Joiner (Scott) Carlton of Cape Fair, Mo. 12 Grandchildren; Allen Bennett, Jeanie (Ken) Rickerson, Robert “Keedan” (Stephaine) Bennett, Warren (Dawn) Tarrant, Shawn (Sandra) Tarrant, April Daffin, Edward (Becky) Dunn, Sheila Dunn, Jamie (Missy) Tarrant, Michelle (Brian) Holder, Jerry Tarrant and Johnny Tarrant. 14 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and Nephews.

 

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Harrell Grove Church Cemetery with Rev. Walter Deloach officiating. Music will be furnished by CD “Lily of the Valley” and “Dancing in the Sky”.

 

Active Pallbearers; Shawn Tarrant, Warren Tarrant, Keedan Bennett, Walker Bennett, Jamie Tarrant and Tyler Davis.

 

Honorary Pallbearers; Allen Bennett, Avery Davis, Jerome Parker and Bethany Hospice of Douglas, GA.

 

Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services was in charge of the arrangements.
