Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the funeral service for Peggy Sue Carter Spivey, age 62 of Douglas, who passed away Tuesday, November 02, 2021.  Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Friday, November 5, 2021 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services.

 

Rev. Joseph Cochran will officiate with burial in the Tanner Cemetery.

 

Ms. Spivey was born in Douglas, Ga.  She was the daughter of the late Milton Carter & Molly Cooper Carter and was preceded in death by: Sister: Glenda Music; Brother: James Carter.  Ms. Spivey was a homemaker and was a member of the Unity Ministries.

 

Survivors include: Daughters: Wendy Morales of Tifton, Cindy Salinas of Douglas; Son & Daughter-in-law: Roy Alvin, Spivey,  Jr.  (Jessica) of Douglas; Sister: Betty Bennett of North Carolina; Brother: Jimmy Carter of Nicholls; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 16 nieces and nephews also survive.

 

Visitation will take place 10 AM-12 PM Friday, November 05, 2021 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services.

 

Active pallbearers will be Jose Salinas, Leo Salinas, Devin Spivey, Joshua Spivey, Bill Chaney, Joseph Merritt, Clay Spivey & Skyler Gallaway.

 

Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
