When I think of Lane, four major things come to mind: Her love for God, Her love for family, Her love of others because of his love of her and Her ability to forgive, no matter what wrong she incurred from others. In these four things, was a daily walk of giving, compassion and a light in the dark world. She was a walking bible that many could read if only they took time to turn the pages. She was an example that I pray many of her family members and others would follow. She to me, was an example of a daughter. I was honored each time she introduced me as her black mother.  Dr. Viola G. Thompkins.

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
