Louise Page, age 93, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Mrs. Page was born on March 16, 1928 in Coffee County, Georgia the daughter of the late Erastus Walker & Emma Kate Turner Holland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Page, sister, Wilda Miller and a brother, E.W. Holland.

 

Mrs. Page was a retired educator with Coffee County School System and Citizens Christian Academy. She was also a member of Nicholls Baptist Church, Nicholls, Georgia.

 

Survivors include daughter, Jamie Tanner (Billy) of Douglas, GA; son, Jason Page (Aline) of Nicholls, GA; 3 grandchildren, Emma Kate Jacobs (Curtis) of Douglas, GA, Joshua Larry Page (Kristin) of Waverly, GA and Steven Chandler Davis of Douglas, GA; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Edna Rowan of Jacksonville, FL; several nieces and nephews.

 

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Nicholls Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Campbell and Rev. Rick Darby officiating. Interment will follow at Meeks Cemetery. Mrs. Page will lay-in-state from 12 noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Spencer Atkinson, Chandler Davis, Josh Pope, Justin Thomas, Graham Tyre, Jim Linton and Ryan Tanner. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacon’s at Nicholls Baptist Church.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Nicholls Baptist Church 200 S. Liberty St., Nicholls, GA 31554

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
