Benjamin Joseph “Joe” Cribb, age 60, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Vista Park, Douglas, Georgia. Mr. Cribb was born on July 24, 1961 in Clinch County, Georgia the son of the late Thomas Edward Cribb Sr. and Gladys Robinson Cribb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Cribb.

 

Joe worked as a Funeral Service Technician with Sims Funeral Home and attended Westside Holiness Church, Douglas, Georgia.

 

Survivors include his wife, Connie L. Cribb of Douglas, GA; daughter, Amber Cribb (Andrew) of Newnan, GA; grandson; Eli Cribb of Douglas, GA; 2 brothers, Eddie Cribb of Pearson, GA and Greg Cribb (Lucy) of Douglas, GA; sister, Zoie Walsh of Pearson, GA.

 

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, November 17, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Gentry officiating. Chuck Sims will give a eulogy. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Church Cemetery, Pearson, Georgia.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
