Mr. Clarence Jackson “C.J.” Bush, aged 95, of Broxton, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Bush was born on May 5, 1926 to Clarence Angier Bush and Emma Lee Williams Bush.

 

His survivors include, Daughters; Betty B. (Scoot) Moon of Broxton, GA, Linda Moseley of Broxton, GA, Son; Rayburn (Marjorie) Bush of Broxton, GA, Grandchildren; Johnny (Dina) Moon, Tammy Merrier, Travis (Danielle) Moseley, Rhonda (Brad) Dockery, and Keri (Adam) Evans; Seven Great Grandchildren, and two Great-Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clarence Angier Bush and Emma Lee Williams Bush; and his wife, Willene Bush.

 

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until 2:00PM on Saturday. November 27, 2021 at Pridgen Baptist Church.

 

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Pridgen Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Rodney Courson officiating. Active Pallbearers will be Johnny Moon, Brad Dockery, Brady Dockery, Adam Evans, Travis Moseley, and Cannon Moseley.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
