Mrs. Rose Marie Bunton Gay, age 70 of Douglas, GA, passed away late Tuesday evening, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Gay was born January 4, 1951 to the late Jimmy Bunton and the late Anna Bernice Mantooth Bunton.

Mrs. Gay, a native of Columbus, Indiana, was retired from the medical field as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Carver Baptist Church.

Gail Thomas of McDonough, GA

5 Half-Siblings: Garth Bunton of OK
Jodie Burton of IN
Tammy Burton of IN
Earl Hogan of IN
Gene Hogan of IN

5 Grandchildren: Angela Gillis and Chris Channell, Jr. both of Dublin, GA
Timothy Loughmiller, Jr. of Havana, FL
Fletcher Wells and Isabella Wells both of Quincy, FL

5 Great Grandchildren: Lexi Gillis, Ava Hayden, Braxton Cameron, Case
Channell and Katie Gillis all of Dublin, GA

Brothers-in-Law and Sisters-in-Law: Clifford and Cathy Gay, Kim and
Brenda Watkins, Larry and Jerry Walker all of Milan, GA
Billy and Tammy Smith of Byronville, GA

A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many beloved friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Carver Baptist Church with the graveside service to follow at 2:00 PM at Carver Cemetery with Rev. Philip Corbean officiating.

Due to COVID-19, the family request that all attendees please follow the rules of social distancing and wear your mask at the visitation and graveside service.

The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas PL Memphis, TN 38105 or www.Stjude.org/
