Tony Mark “Tony Man” Williams, 67

Tony Mark “Tony Man” Williams, age 67, of Douglas, Georgia entered into rest on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Vista Park Health & Rehabilitation. Tony was born on June 3, 1954 in Coffee County, Georgia the son of the late Gordon Devon Williams Sr. & Ruby Ann Moore Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon D. William Jr.

 

He worked as a salesman for Amway and was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Douglas, Georgia.  

 

Survivors include 3 sisters, Ann W. Koch of Decatur, GA, Patricia W. Irvin (George) of Douglas, GA and Lou W. Pierce (Mike) of Axson, GA; 3 brothers, Alan Williams (Peggy), Nick Williams (Margie) and Steve Williams (Paige) all of Douglas, GA; sister-in-law, Nancy Williams of Brunswick, GA; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 

The family will receive friends Monday evening, December 6, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

 

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Father Paul O’Connell officiating. Entombment will follow at the Dixie Mausoleum, Douglas City Cemetery, Douglas, Georgia. Pallbearers will be Steven Williams, Alex Williams, Chad Williams, Joe Moore, Patrick Braxton and Trey Irving. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the College House.

 

Due to the Covid-19 virus and emerging variants, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all customers, guests, and attendees to wear medical grade masks at all times while in our facility, as well as social distancing. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however the safety of our staff and those we serve are our primary concern. Masks will not be provided.
