Wilma Fussell Brigmond, 90

Wilma Fussell Brigmond, age 90, of Ambrose, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Pruitt Health in Ocilla, GA following an extended illness. Mrs. Brigmond was born on January 31, 1931, in Coffee County, Georgia to the late Eddie Fussell and Beadie Harper Fussell.

 

Survivors include: Daughter, Joyce Cliett of Douglas, GA, Daughter, Jana (James) McMillan of Lake Park, Ga., Son, Darrell Brigmond of Ambrose, GA, Eight grandchildren, and Seventeen great-grandchldren. Mrs. Brigmond was preceded in death by: Her Husband; Ira Brigmond; Father, Eddie Fussell, Mother; Beadie Harper Fussell, Three Brothers; Harvey Fussell,  Edsel Fussell,   Dan Fussell and Five Sisters; Ella Mae Wiggins, Bessie Paulk, Grace Nunn, Christy Vickers and Eva Kirkland.

 

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church.

 

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 2:00PM at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Steve Flowers officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all customers, guests, and attendees to wear medical grade masks at all times while in our facility, as well as social distancing. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however the safety of our staff and those we serve are our primary concern. Masks will not be provided.
