Lennie Margaret Carver Day, 80

Lennie Margaret Carver Day, age 80, of Ambrose, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Day was born on February 10, 1941, in Douglas, Georgia to James Newt Carver and Ida Hinson Carver.

 

Survivors include: Daughter, Ronda (Ricky) Johnson of Ambrose, GA, Daughter, Lorinda Faye (Leon) Gray of Nicholls, GA, three Grandchildren, Alex Johnson, Caleb Vickers, and Ashley McLean, and two Great-Grandchildren, Raylon McLean and Payton McLean. She was preceded in death by: Husband, James Homer Day; Father, James Newt Day; and her Mother, Ida Hinson Carver.

 

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at Sims Funeral Home. 

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 3:00PM, at Bethany Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Joe Vaughn, Rev. Tommy Greene officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all customers, guests, and attendees to wear medical grade masks at all times while in our facility, as well as social distancing. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however the safety of our staff and those we serve are our primary concern. Masks will not be provided.
