Margaret Ann Pharis, age 78, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Pharis was born on November 22, 1943, in Douglas, GA to the late James Carl Ayers and the late Margaret Smith Ayers.

 

Survivors include Husband, Ralph Benjamin Pharis of Douglas, GA, Son, James “Jim” Pharis of Dublin, GA, Daughter, Pam Register of Adel, GA. Grandchildren, Ronnie (Casey) Register of Adel, GA, Margaret Ann (Logan Bush) Register of Savannah, GA, Ben (Ellen) Register of Adel, GA, Heather Renee (Devan) Leaphart of Smyrna, GA, James B Pharis, Jr., of Dublin, GA.  Five sisters, Jennie (Larry) Thomas of Douglas, GA, Marsha (Piere) Mitchell of Live Oak, FL, Jan (Jim) Hall of Ponte Vedra, FL, Joy (Ronnie) McKinnon of Douglas, GA, Carla (Dewayne) Harrell of Douglas, GA.  Several Nieces, Nephews and grandchildren. 

 

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 2:00 pm, at City of Douglas Cemetery with John Day, Chris Sheffield officiating. 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

 

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade face masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility. Mask are not provided.
