Donna Jean Book, age 77, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Book was born on September 29, 1944, in Washington, PA to the late Paul Willis Dille and Norma Jean Bristor Dillie.
Survivors include: Husband; Fred Book of Douglas, GA, Daughter; Debra Jean Day of Douglas, GA, Son; Michael Aaron (Margaret) Book of Douglas,GA, Grandchildren; Danielle (Dylan) Lomax of Douglas, GA, Daniel Register of Douglas, GA, Matt Day (Savannah) of Douglas, GA, Great-Grandchildren; Addirae Lomax and Kaden Lomax. Mrs. Book was preceded in death by: Father, Paul Willis Dille; Mother, Norma Jean Bristor Dillie; Son, Daniel Jon Day; Sister, Linda Lou Dille.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 2:00PM Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Powell, Fred Book, and Michael Book officiating.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
