Tracy Rowell, age 53, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Rowell was born on September 5, 1968, in Douglas, GA to Barbara  Banks.

 

Survivors include: Wife; Melissa Newell of Douglas, GA, Mother; Barbara Banks of Douglas, GA, Son; Tyler Rowell of Pennsylvania, Daughter; Tiffany Rowell of Douglas, GA, Granddaughters; Ellie Rowell, River Rowell, Sister; Terri (Courtney) Banks of Douglas, GA, Brother, Trent Banks of Douglas, GA, Nieces and Nephews; Bryce Banks, Cassie Banks, Rylee Banks, Emily Fender, Great-Nephew; Aiden Fender, Daughter In Law; Jordan Gill, and Sister/Caretaker; Esther Douglas.

 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 ,  at 2:00PM, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home Rev. Walt Deloach officiating. The interment will follow at Calvary Full Gospel Tabernacle Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Lee Steverson, Christy Walker, Dustin Merritt, Kerry Moore, Trent Banks, Grant Moore, Terri Banks, Josh Ivey, Bruce Newell, Bubba Moore, and Corey Moore.

 

Due to the COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all customers, guests, and attendees to wear medical grade masks at all times while in our facility, as well as social distancing. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however the safety of our staff and those we serve are our primary concern. Masks will not be provided.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
