Mrs. Danarria Olivia “Libby” Spivey Porter, age 79 of Ambrose, GA, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 6, 2022 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Porter was born January 22, 1943 to the late Willie W. Spivey and the late Lillie Mae Kelley Spivey. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Porter, Jr., 5 Siblings: Dessie Clark, Lessie Mae Darley, Evelyn McMillan, Willie D. Spivey and Linda Bullock.Libby.
A native of Douglas, GA, was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include:1 Daughter: Shelby Mizell and husband Jeff of Vidalia, GA2 Granddaughters: Heidi Stevens and husband Austin of Ambrose, GA
Kelsi Mizell of Douglas, GA1 Great Grandson: Vincent Stevens of Ambrose, GAA host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
The funeral service will be Thursday afternoon, February 10, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Moore and Bishop Leroy Spivey officiating and her granddaughter, Kelsi Mizell presenting a eulogy. The interment will follow in the Douglas City Cemetery.The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour of 1:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home.
Active Pallbearers for the service will be: Kevin Bullock, Devin Bullock, Patrick Kobus, Austin Stevens, Michael Whitley, Ashton Whitley, Jeran Whitley and Jason Blankenship.
