Mary Frances Haskins Caughlin, age 89, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at her residence in Shoreline, Washington following an extended illness. Ms. Caughlin was born on Wednesday, May 4, 1932, in Atkinson County, Georgia to the late Chester Lankford Haskins and Mamie Newbern.
Survivors include: Three Daughters; Michele Sparks of Shoreline, WA, Susanne Hoecherl of Lake Wales, Florida, and Stacey Rego (Billy) of Celebration, Florida. Four Grandchildren; Rachel Sparks, Brandon Rego, Kristen Rego, and Daniel Hoecherl along with several nieces and nephews. Ms. Caughlin was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin C. Caughlin as well as her parents Chester and Mamie Haskins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, 11:00 AM, at Live Oak Methodist Church in Atkinson County with internment to follow at Live Oak Methodist Cemetery.
