DPD charges Kentarius Williams with numerous crimes, including arson and church burglary

Kentarius Williams of Douglas has been charged with at least 12 crimes, including arson, after a Douglas police officer arrested him in the act of allegedly attempting to burglarize First Baptist Church.

Williams’ alleged crimes occurred at the following locations:

Burglary 2nd Degree – at 124 North Gaskin Avenue

Burglary 2nd Degree – at 511 South Peterson Avenue

Burglary 2nd Degree – at 515 South Peterson Avenue

Arson 2nd Degree – at 433 South Peterson Avenue​

Burglary 2nd Degree – at a North Coweta location

Burglary 1st Degree – at a North Coweta location

Burglary 2nd Degree (2 counts) – at an East Walker location

Criminal Damage to Property 2nd Degree – at an East Walker location

Entering Auto – at an East Peachtree Street location

Burglary 1st Degree – at an East Peachtree Street location

Burglary 1st Degree- at 419 East Ward Street

Investigators also charged Williams’ brother, Kenneth Williams of Douglas, after he used cards allegedly taken by Kentarius during a church burglary. Kenneth Williams was charged with Financial Transaction Card Fraud (5 counts) after the card was used at a local retail location.

Investigators have also charged Allen Green of Douglas with Entering Auto after a vehicle was entered at an East Ward Street location. In a separate incident, investigators have also charged Sylvester Wilcox of Douglas for Entering Auto that occurred on Pine Street.
