Jimmy Lynn  Burch, age 69, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Burch was born on January 23, 1953, in Douglas, GA to the late Leon Burch and the late Aline Merritt Burch.

 

 

He is survived by his Son; James Lawrence Burch of Montgomery, Texas, Brother; Wendell and wife Fran Burch of McKinney, TX, , Former Spouse; Brenda Hensley Burch Childers of Montgomery, Texas, and Niece and Nephew Becky and Brian Burch of McKinney, Texas.

 

 

Jimmy attended South Georgia College and was also a musician throughout his life. He was a passionate pianist and guitarist, playing in bands such as The Bushmen and Crossroads in South Georgia. He also was a songwriter and studio engineer. He worked on great projects throughout his life with artists around the world and his talent will be forever missed but not forgotten.

 

 

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.

 

 

Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, at 2:00PM, at the Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Shep Johnson officiating.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
