Jerry Jerome Spivey, age 74, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Spivey was born on May 4, 1948, in Douglas, GA to Cleo Spivey and Dorothy Bryant Spivey.
Survivors include: One Sister, Lisa Spivey Davis of Douglas, GA, One Brother, Terry (Geri) Spivey of Douglas, GA, Eleven Nieces and Nephews, and Eight Great Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by: Mother, Dorothy Bryant Spivey; Father, Cleo Spivey; and Two Sisters, Linda C. Smith, and Debra S. Deen.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 2:00pm, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow at the Douglas City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 16, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Sims Funeral Home.
